Bible Series #5: John 3:16
With Commentary by the Archangels
I’m fairly familiar with The Bible, because I’ve read it, and there was a time when I believed everything in it. That’s no longer the case, but I still value the experience and what I’ve learned from it through the years, whether I still agree with everything or not. My favorite verse was John 3:16, as stated below:
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
It wasn’t until I was older that I wondered how anyone could sacrifice their child, regardless of the circumstances. Even though the idea behind it was love for all of us, I just couldn’t understand it. I had the same problem with Abraham getting ready to sacrifice his son to prove His faith. I still cannot reconcile the God that I know with sacrificing children.
I asked the Archangels for their commentary on this verse, and their response follows. For context, the first couple of paragraphs are addressed to me, but the rest is for all readers.
