Bible Series #3: The Way, the Truth, and the Life

With Archangels’ Commentary on John 14: 6–7

I’m no longer a Christian, but I will always love Yeshua. The beginning of the end of my days in Christianity was when my husband and I went to a museum in Albuquerque, NM to view a photographic display featuring Tibetan monks and nuns who had been tortured by the Chinese and spent the rest of their lives praying for their torturers.

I had questioned the idea that you had to be a Christian to go to Heaven for a long time, but it was at that moment, I knew without a doubt that it was not true. People like those in the display were not going to hell, because they didn’t worship in a certain way. People like that knew God and Jesus in a way that most people do not.

Today’s article in the Bible Series focuses on the passage of John 14: 6–7, which follows:

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”

It is largely this passage that has convinced many people that you must be a Christian in order to be saved from eternal damnation and to reach Heaven. I asked the Archangels to comment on these verses from the Bible, and their answer…
