Souls, Life Plans, and Free Will
I’ve had several questions lately about souls, life plans, and free will, and how they’re connected, so I put them altogether in a themed group of questions and answers below.
Question: What’s the relationship between the life plan and free will? For example, if someone dies in an accident, is it more likely to be due to the life plan or the choice made by the person who decided to do something or go somewhere?
Answer:
The soul makes the life plan with input from other souls, Angels, and Ascended Masters. It’s designed to give as many opportunities to learn life lessons as possible. Many safeguards and contingency plans are included, taking free will and other factors into consideration, as well as assigning guides and guardians to assist in many ways. Since the soul has universal knowledge, the plan has a good chance of succeeding. The human living the plan is part of the soul, and the soul knows and can anticipate fairly accurately how the human will react to things during life.
Having said that, free will can override life plans. A soul cannot force the human to follow the plan. Free will…
