How Kindness Can Obliterate Stress
It was a really busy week last week. The week before last, the podcast I did came out, which caused an influx in my business, it was Grandparents’ Breakfast Day at my granddaughter’s daycare (Menu: cookies and lemonade!), I had a couple of meetings, and my Medium account got hacked, which I found out wasn’t really hacked, but it involved someone using my name and picture, along with a What’s App phone number, in in an attempt to sell cryptocurrency, which really pissed me off and stressed me out! The upside was that my wonderful readers who were approached knew I wouldn’t do that and notified me about what was going on, and I was able to report it right away. I’m assuming Medium took care of it, because the ads no longer appear under the comments left by my readers.
Add that to the regular irritation from politics, minor health issues, and the stress of everyday living, and I had to work hard on maintaining my calm and peace of mind. I meditate nightly, and I channel nearly every day, and those things really help, but something happened last night that erased all stress and aggravation for a few hours, and I’ve decided to share it with you, not to brag about me or my actions, but to remind you that random acts of kindness can do wonders for inner peace.
