A Father’s Day Message from the Archangels
We send all Love and Light and would like to recognize fathers on this special day. Many people recognize, and rightly so, the importance and love a mother has for her children, and we wish to add that fathers are equally important in shaping their lives and futures.
The father’s role in shaping important impressions to live by is equally important to the roles mothers play. Fathers teach their sons how to treat women. If they are loving and respectful to the mother in the family, chances are likely the son will act similarly, whereas if a son witnesses his father abusing, belittling, and mistreating the mother, he is again, likely to follow that example.
Daughters expect to be treated similarly to how their fathers treat their mothers. If she sees her father disrespecting her mother, she will grow up believing that it is acceptable. When she sees her father cherishing and loving her mother, she will expect to be treated the same way.
Parents are their children’s first teachers. They see and realize much more than most parents know. If they see their parents working together as partners throughout life, they will look for a similar, equal dynamic in a partner. If they see an unequal partnership, they will expect the same. The idea that mothers are the nurturers and fathers are the providers is outdated and erroneous…
